2011 Acura TL

2011 Acura TL

The Japanese automotive company Acura has been in existence now for almost 25 years. Acura was started as a  luxury brand for Honda.  And since then this brand has tried to keep up with the next generation technologies in automobiles. The new 2011 Acura TL is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, or better we can say its a luxury sports sedan, available in 8 trims, ranging from the 5-Spd AT to the 6-Spd MT SH-AWD w/Tech Package and HPT.

The exterior styling for the 2011 Acura TL doesn’t have much change from its predecessor i.e the 2010 Acura TL. However on the inside, the vehicle is equipped with a whole new range of features that makes a ride more comfortable & safe. New TL are increasingly looking for more dynamic refinement and capability, and emotional styling.

Let’s see some of the features in detail.

Features
The 2011 Acura TL brings no fewer than three topnotch engines to the table. The 3.5-liter V6 gets 280 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque; the 3.7-liter V6 gets 305 hp and 273 lb-ft. For true grit, though, the 4.8-liter V8 engine – and its 420 horsepower – cannot be beat.

With this model, uses crisp, taut lines instead of sweeping curves, satin trim in key areas rather than bright chrome, and a driver-oriented layout makes driving more engaging. After a few years of high-profile military engagements abroad and a stagnating economy and rising unemployment back home, one thing is clear: There’s no stopping the sales of entry-level luxury sedans.

The standard features of the car include: the tilt and telescoping of the steering wheel, keyless remote entry, the auto climate control feature, the navigation system unique to the Acura line-up, AM/FM satellite radio, and its voice recognition technology,  as well as the DVD-Audio with 8 speaker stereo, the centralized lock system, wireless cellular telephoning facility and energy management feature.

Price start at about MSRP: $36,000.
