The Jaguar XF which was first launched in the year 2007 has been around for quite some time now. But with the new 3.0 L diesel engine installed the XF has definitely got everyone’s attention.
The new Jaguar XF is a stunning looking machine and truly a visual treat for everyone including those who have Used Jaguar cars. The sleek headlamps bejewelled with the J shaped LED’s (now a visual signature of the Jaguar brand) and the chrome mesh grille in the centre gives the car its amazing classic character. The tail lights at the rear sharply extend on to the boot lid and fine details like the slit behind the front wheel arch topped by chrome Jaguar badging definitely adds grace to the Jaguar XF. The car has a length, width and height of 4961 mm, 2053 mm and 1460 mm respectively.
The interior of this Jaguar car has a whole lot of craftsmanship that will make anyone go weak in the knees. The cabin has an excellent combination of aluminum finish, wood trim and leather in the right proportions at right places. The dashboard is clean and free from the clutter of buttons or controls along with a full colour 7 inch display instrument panel. The diesel variant of XF is powered by a 3.0 Litre V6 twin turbocharged engine that produces 275 PS of peak power at 4000 revolutions and a torque of 600Nm at just 2000 rpm. This monster just takes 8.03 seconds to reach from 0-100km/hr and can reach a top speed of 230km/hr.
The Jaguar XF will be competing against other luxury models like the BMW 5 series, Mercedes-Benz E-class and Audi A6. But with a price tag of Rs 70 lakhs this Jaguar is ridiculously expensive than its competitors.
