Every year, the editors at WardsAuto release a list of the 10 best car interiors that they have tested. Any new or recently updated car is eligible, and for 2015, that meant 42 cars were considered. These cars are scored based on “materials, ergonomics, safety, comfort, value and fit-and-finish.” At the end of the process, the cars that scored best ranged from a $21,000 hatchback to a $65,000 luxury sedan.

MRP: $41,905. Nissan’s five-passenger Murano sets out to jazz up the high-volume midsize CUV segment – and succeeds beautifully. Inside the car, you will find a lot of passenger space, reasonably good cargo versatility, and a quiet, refined ambiance throughout. The driving position is just right, and the rather low-set dash should allow even shorter drivers to feel comfortable in this model.
