Jaguar has got a long tradition of creating beautiful, fast saloon and sports cars which provide the customers with comfort, refinement and an unrivalled driving experience. Recent news from various sources say that the company is planning to launch its new roadster the Jaguar XE at the Geneva motor show this year. The car will have the same distinctive front grille like the other jaguars and will continue to have a fierce look on the design line giving stong competition to its other roadster’s like the BMW M3, Alfa Romeo 8C spyder, Porsche Boxster .

The new XE roadster is going to be built on all new aluminum platform and will be equipped with a V8 engine that should be able to produce 385 HP in naturally aspired version and 510 HP in the supercharged version. The upcoming jaguar XE will be made as a hybrid variant. The gas/electric vehicle will use a much more efficient lithium ion battery pack, as opposed the nickel based energy storage devices.
