The new 2011 Audi Q5 Hybrid Quattro that was launched at the 2010 LA Auto show will also be shown at the 2011 Geneva Motor show is Audi’s first hybrid road car, which combines a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine, an electric motor and lithium-ion batteries in the Q5 SUV body. The engine fitted in the car, the 2.0 TFSI gasoline can deliver 155kW (211 hp) and gives a maximum torque of 350 Nm available at 1500-4200 rpm.
The top speed of the vehicle is electronically limited to 222km/hr. Moreover, this car is capable of accelerating from 80 to 120 km/h (49.71 to 74.56 mph) in fifth gear in about 5.9 seconds. The lithium-ion battery system in the car weighs 38 kg (83.78 lb) and stores energy from the electric motor. The Audi Q5 hybrid With an output of 39 kW, the battery has 72 cells and 266 volts plus a nominal energy of 1.3 kWh.
