Ford India has come up with its all new global sedan the Ford Fiesta 2011. The car gives a new definition to passenger safety, fuel efficiency and class in its segment. Many of the smart features like cruise control, Advanced Bluetooth Voice Control and EPAS which means Electric Power Assisted Steering are also included in the new Ford Fiesta.
Michael Boneham, president and managing director of Ford India said the new Ford Fiesta is the first of their eight new global vehicles to be launched in India under their One Ford Vision scheme by the year 2015. He says that the car brings with itself many of the first in segment and innovative features like leading in class passenger safety, precision engineering and the technologies used in the cabin.
The new Ford Fiesta looks great on the both inside and outside. At the first look the car definitely looks international and audacious. It gives a bold statement on its style in terms of both its aerodynamic and sporty looks. In the interior of Ford Fiesta the cockpit is technologically advanced and comes with many new features like the first in segment Advanced Bluetooth Voice Control that allows hands free control for the phone, radio, CD, USB, iPod and the electronic climate control.
Ford also included in its new car the dual front air bags with ABS, EBD and EPAS with Pull Drift Compensation technology that adapts to the changing road conditions leading to increased safety of the car. About 55% of the structures used in the new Ford Fiesta is made out of high-strength steel with ultra strong boron steel which reinforces several key points in the car.
The all new Ford Fiesta comes in seven exiting colors namely Diamond white, Panther black, sea grey, chill, Moondust silver, Squeeze and kinetic blue. Four premium trims available in the car are Style, Trend, Titanium and Titanium Plus. The car has both diesel and petrol engine options in its manual transmission. The 1.5 Litre Ti-VCT Style model costs about Rs 823,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the 1.5 Litre Duratorq TDCi Titanium Plus model costs Rs 1,042,200 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Ford India offers a two year warranty or 100,000 km to ensure the owners of the car gets the best benefits from the car.
